About

Nature • Community • Connection

Our Mission

We hope to build health and resilience within and between individuals and our land through connection to nature by learning, tasting and experiencing our farm and farm products.

We strive to be respnsible stewards of our land. We use permaculture principles as we design and develop the farm and forest. We have thoughtfully introduced a rain garden, hugelkultur and support birds and pollinators through intentional practices.

We respect the land and want to share it with you by growing sustainable flowers, expanding pollinator habitat and offering educational experiences.

What about the name?

The name BLUETREE is inspired by my work in Mental Health and the driving mission of our Farm to promote connection to self, community and nature. We are registered with The Blue Tree project. A not-for-profit created in Australia having the slogan “it’s ok not to be ok.” Their mission to increase hope and use blue-painted trees as a conversation starter to talk about our mental health.
